WASCO, Inc. Receives Gold Step Safety Award

Recognition of continued outstanding safety efforts

October 10, 2011 (Nashville, TN) – WASCO, Inc. has earned certification through the newly created Masonry Certification program, sponsored by the Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA). The company's scope of masonry is commercial, institutional, industrial and restoration projects.

"WASCO is proud of our employees for having accomplished the Gold Level STEP National Recognition Award for their safety efforts," John Golden, WASCO Vice President of Safety and Insurance, said.

According to Associated Builders and Contractors, the STEP Program was established in 1989 by the ABC National Environment, Health and Safety Committee and was developed and written by contractors, for contractors.
