WASCO Honored with Patriotic Employer Award March 15, 2010 (Nashville, TN) – WASCO, Inc., the national commercial masonry company, received the Patriotic Employer Award from Employee Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a program of the Department of Defense. The award recognizes employers who go above and beyond in their support of employees serving in the military reserves.
Carl Lambert, area chairman of the ESGR program, presented the award February 22 to Andy Sneed, WASCO Chief Operations Officer, in a brief ceremony attended by WASCO employees. “Our Guard and Reserve members could not be successful in accomplishing their mission without the support and encouragement of their employers, and WASCO is setting the standard for this,” Lambert said. “WASCO is pleased to do our part by supporting both our citizen soldiers and all of those who serve our nation in uniform who preserve our freedom,” WASCO Chief Financial Officer Bill Tune said. “We take great pride in Andy Sneed for his receiving the Patriotic Employer Award presented by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve.” ABOUT WASCO, Inc.
